September 19th:

  • India registered its first win in Volleyball against Cambodia by 3:0
  • India lost to China in Football by 1-5 (Rahul KP scored the consolation goal for India but China was far ahead of us)

September 20th:

  • Indian men’s Volleyball team (WR 73) put on a fantastic display to beat 2018 Asian Games silver medalists and WR 27 South Korea in a nail-biting match – HISTORY made!
  • Men’s lightweight double sculls heats, The Indian duo of Arjun Lal Jat and Arvind Singh have already made a strong start to their Asian Games 2022 campaign

September 21st:

  • India wins against Bangladesh by 1 – 0 in Football
  • India slips their leads to eventually go down by 2 – 1  against a higher-ranked Chinese Taipei side in women’s football

September 22nd:

  • Indian Men’s Volleyball team moves into the quarterfinals, dismantling Chinese Taipei, bronze medalists in 2018.
  • Table tennis – Team India gets off to a fantastic start in Table Tennis. The men’s team goes past Yemen and Singapore while the women’s team bags a win against Singapore.

September 23rd:

  • Indian men’s and women’s teams top their preliminary pool F groups. Women beat Nepal 3 – 0 and men beat Tajikistan 3- 0 to stamp their dominance.

September 24th:

  • First medal for India in the 10m Air rifle women’s team of Mehuli Ghosh, Ramita and Ashi Chouksey won silver with a combined score of 1886.0, Ramita at 2nd rank with a score of 631.9 and Mehuli Ghosh at 5th rank with score 630.8 also qualify for individual final
  • Rowing dua – Silver medal for men’s Lightweight Doubles Sculls pair of Arjun Lal Jat and Arvind Singh take silver with a timing of 6:28:18
  • Shooting delivering on its promise – 2nd medal of the day. Ramita Jindal wins 10m air rifle women’s individual bronze with a final score of 230.1
  • Hockey – India thrash Uzbekistan, Lalit Upadhyay – 4 goals | Mandeep & Varun hattrick
  • Table tennis – Poor from Ayhika Mukherjee and Manika Batra in the last two matches as India gave up a 2-1 lead to eventually lose the tie against Thailand
  • Men’s Table Tennis – India edged out a close RO16 encounter against Kazakhstan to make it to the quarters. Wins by 3-2

September 25th:

  • Men’s Volleyball – India loses in quarterfinals with Japan by 0-3
  • Women’s football – India loses by 0-1 to Thailand
  • Men’s football – Draw match between India and Myanmar
  • Indian men’s table tennis team lost to South Korea 0-3 in the quarterfinals.
  • 1st medal in shooting – 10m Air rifle men’s team of Rudrankksh Patil, Divyansh Panwar and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar win GOLD with a new world record score of 1893.7, Rudranksh at 3rd with 632.5 and Aishwary at 5th with 631.6 qualify for final of 10m Air rifle individual Event.
  • Rowing (men’s four) – Bronze medal by Jaswinder Singh, Bheem Singh, Punit and Ashish Kumar take third spot with the timing of 6:10:81.
  • Rowing (men’s quadruple) – India’s men’s quadruple team, defending champions from 2018, clock 6:08:61 to finish just behind China and Uzbekistan
  • Shooting – Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar bags Bronze in the men’s 10m Air rifle individual final with a score of 229.8 (Two medals in a day)
  • Indian men’s 25m Rapid fire Pistol team of Adarsh Singh, Anish Bhanwala and Vijayveer Sindhu finished third with a final tally of 1718 and clinched bronze, Vijayveer Sidhu qualified for the individual final at 6th rank with a score of 583.
  • First-ever gold for India in Cricket. The women’s team does it in style, restricting Sri Lanka to 97/8 and chasing 117. They take the final by 19 runs. Titas Sadhu is the star of the show with unbelievable figures of 4 overs – 1 maiden – 6 runs – 3 wickets

September 26th:

  • Men’s hockey – 32 goals have been scored by us in just 2 matches. Wins by 16-1 against Singapore
  • Women’s Squash – The women’s squash team of Anahat Singh, Joshna Chinappa and Tanvi Khanna thrashed Pakistan 3-0 in the first round
  • Men’s squash – Victory against Singapore, Harinder Pal Sandhu (3-1), Saurav Ghosal (3-0), and Abhay Singh (3-0)
  • First medal in sailing by Neha Thakur in the Girl’s Dinghy – ILCA4 with 27 net points out after 11 races
  • Balraj Panwar comes 4th in rowing men’s singles sculls
  • Vijayveer Sindhu 4th place in 25m rapid fire pistol
  • Taniksha Khatri lost QF in fencing individual EPEE
  • Divyanchu Panwar & Ramita Jindal lost a bronze match in the 10m rifle mixed team
  • Eabad Ali in Sailing – men’s windsurfer. Indian sailors are making a splash in the Asian Games 2023. A second medal in sailing by Eabad Ali who won bronze in the men’s windsurfer RS:X
  • Equestrian – India’s first-ever gold in equestrian. The team of Anush Agarwal, Hriday Vipul Chheda, Sudipti Hajela and Divyakriti Singh won in the Dressage team event with 209.205 points.
  • Men’s volleyball – India finishes 6th in men’s volleyball at the Asian Games 2023. Lose against Pakistan by 0-3
  • Men’s squash – Mahesh Mangaokar, Saurav Ghosal, Abhay Singh wins against Qatar by 3-0

September 27th:

  • Silver – The Indian women’s team won silver in 50m rifle 3p with a score of 1764. Sift Kaur and Ashi Chouksey also qualify for the individual final
  • Gold – Indian women’s team in the 25m pistol event. Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan won gold with a score of 1759
  • Women’s squash – The squash team hardly broke a sweat in their pool B match against Nepal. Anahat Singh, Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal notched up straight-set wins.
  • Gold – Sift Samra smashes the world record to clinch gold in women’s 50m rifle 3 positions
  • Bronze – Ashi Chouksey wins bronze in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions
  • Bronze – The men’s skeet of Anant Jeet Singh Naruka, Gurjoat Khangura and Angad Veer Singh Bajwa won bronze with 355 points. Anant Jeet also qualified for the finals.
  • Bronze – Vishnu Saravanan wins bronze in the men’s dinghy event.
  • Women’s hockey team, the Blues thrashed Singapore by 13-0 in a ruthless show of dominance
  • Silver – Esha Singh makes a strong comeback to win silver in the 25m women’s pistol individual event.
  • 3X3 Basketball – India defeats Macao 21-12
  • Sift Kaur Samra – Broke the women’s 50m rifle 3P world record of 467.0 with a score of 469.6 in the final.
  • Silver – Men’s Skeet – Anant Jeet Singh Naruka won silver with a score of 58 in the final.
  • Men’s Squash Pool B – India lost to Pakistan. Abhay Singh lost the first match before the experienced Saurav Ghosal made it 1-1.

September 28th:

  • Silver in Wushu – Roshibina Devi goes one better than her performance in Jakarta to win silver for India in the women’s 60kg category.
  • Badminton – Solid start from the women’s team of PV Sindhu, Ashmita Chaliha and Anupama Upadhyaya to give India a comfortable victory over Mongolia by 3-0. Into the Quarterfinals
  • Shooting – The trio of Shiva Narwal, Arjun Singh Cheema and Sarabjot Singh won Gold with a score of 1734 in the Men’s 10m air pistol team event, Arjun % Sarabjot also qualified for the individual finals finishing 5th and 8th respectively.
  • Equestrian – dressage individual – Anush Agarwal and his horse ETRO won bronze with a 73.030% score in the final.
  • Men’s Football – The Indian football team held out against Saudi Arabia but then conceded twice in quick succession to lose 0-2
  • Men’s hockey – India commanded a win against the defending champion Japan 4-2 at the Asian Games 2022
  • Pistol – 10m Women’s air pistol team of Esha Singh, Palak, Divya Thadigol take the silver medal with a score of 1731. Esha with 579 finished 5th and Palak with 577 finished 7th and qualified for the individual final.
  • Shooting – Indian men’s 50m 3P team wins another shooting gold. Swapnil, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Akhil Sheoran bag 5th gold in shooting with a score of 1769 – A new world record
  • Tennis – Men’s doubles. Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan go down against Chinese Taipei’s Jason Jung and Yu-hsiou Hsu 4-6 in the men’s doubles final.
  • Shooting – women’s 10m air pistol Palak finishes with 242.1 to take gold in women’s finals. Asian Games record
  • Shooting – women’s 10m air pistol. 18 y/o Esha takes silver with 239.7 in the 10m air pistol women’s final. She now has one gold and three silver medals in this edition.

September 29th:

  • Silver for the 10m women’s air pistol team, Esha Singh, Pala, and Divya Thadigol took the silver medal with a score of 1731. Esha with 597 finished 5th and Palak 577 finished 7th and qualified for the individual final
  • The men’s 50m 3P team won another shooting gold. Swapnil, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Akhil Sheoran bag 5th gold in shooting with a score of 1769.
  • Silver in tennis men’s doubles, Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan go down against Chinese Taipei’s Jason Jung and Yu-hsiou Hsu 4-6.
  • 2nd Asian Games medal for Ramkumar, 3rd for Saketh
  • Palak finished with 242.1 and took gold in the 10m air pistol women’s final
  • A 4th for Esha Singh 18 y/0 with 239.7 in the 10m air pistol women’s final.
  • The women’s squash team goes down 1-2 against Hong Kong in the semifinals to take 3rd spot
  • Aishwary Pratap Sing Tomar fought till the very end and emerged with a second-place finish in the men’s 50m rifle with a score of 459.7
  • Hockey – India made light work of Malaysia in their women’s group stage encounter, won by 6-0
  • Kiran Baliyan won the Bronze medal in women’s shot put with a best of 17.36m
  • Manpreet Kaur finished 5th with a best attempt of 16.25m

September 30th:

  • Sarabjot Singh & Divya Thadigol take silver in the 10m air pistol mixed team final after a tough battle against China.
  • Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale the Indian Duo won the tennis mixed doubles final against Chinese Taipei’s En-shuo Liang and Tsung-hao Huang 2-6, 6-3 (10-4)
  • Kartik Kumar and Gulveer Singh run the race of their lives to finish with individual personal Bests in the men’s 10000m final.
  • Hockey – Another Indo-Pak encounter ends with the same result. India thrashed Pakistan 10-2. Captain Harmanpreet scores 4.
  • Aditi Ashok won silver. She became the first Indian woman to win a medal in golf at the Asian Games. After 7 shots lead going into the last round, an underwhelming performance saw Aditi manage a +5 and Arpicharya Yubol of Thailand leapfrogged her into the gold medal spot
  • The trap men’s team of Prithviraj Tondaiman, Kynan Chenai and Zoravar Singh Sandhu smashed the Games record with a score of 361. It’s Gold!
  • The women’s trap team of Manisha Keer, Preeti Rajak and Rajeshwari Kumari won silver with a score of 337.
